THE MELLOW CAPITAL Timelapse

I took these shots in September 2014. It was during my first time in any of the "Stans", and I wasn't walking this time. I consider myself a rather timid person, so I wasn't surprised that I felt a bit shy at first: would I be able to get around with my limited abilities in the Russian language? Was it going to be very different from any other place I had been to before?
Well, Bishkek turned out to be a nice place full of charming people. It had a distinct mellow vibe to it all, as if the capital wasn't really awake.
As if Kyrgyzstan was sleeping.

Sadly, I didn't shoot enough footage for a more awesome video. Maybe next time. I'll keep posting some more stuff from other places in Kyrgyzstan during the next few weeks. :)
