High-intensity exercise improves your mental health
If you struggle with mental health issues, or if you just want to get in a better mood, try high-intensity exercise. A new study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine shows that any exercise has positive effects on mental health, but some types of exercise provide more benefits than others. The researchers found that vigorous and short-duration exercises were most effective in improving mild-to-moderate symptoms of depression and anxiety.
