I persuade Glenn to walk up Ivinghoe Beacon with me, it was so windy that I didn’t take my camera. Glenn was keen to do this walk, but once we got to the top we continued on a bit further and in the end, we did just under 8 miles. I am making an effort to use ingredients we have in the kitchen so we have corned beef, chips and fried eggs for dinner, it wasn’t glamorous but it was tasty!

Super excited that phase two of lockdown has begun, this means we can now meet up with 6 people or 2 households outside! This is a game-changer.
I pop into the supermarket and it was really busy. Back at the boat I get ready for a visit from our friends Sam and John, they bring us homemade cheese scones with wild garlic, they were delicious!
The next episode of vloggl launches and I cook sweet potato fries and burgers for dinner.

It is the most beautiful day! Glenn heads off to get new front tyres for the van and I get ready for a day of guests. First Peter and Penny arrive and we enjoy a lovely chat with them and then later in the day Naomi, Mark and the kids arrive. We have such a lovely time, after a BBQ we light the fire pit and toast marshmallows.

We visit my mum and Leo, we spend the day playing games, we teach mum how to play Uno and Leo how to play sequence. Leo shows me how to play a game on his VR headset - I loved it and would really like one!
We leave mums and drop into Mirimars on the way back, we sit around the fire pit and talk until it goes dark!

The weather changes from warm and sunny to cold and windy! This isn’t good when you can only sit outside with friends and family!
Harry, Hayley, Oliver and Layla come over with the dog and we go for a walk, it is so windy! Later Glenn sister pops over with our post. I am finding out more about my family history and I had ordered a copy of my great grandmother's death certificate and it had arrived.

I start the day watching narrowboat vlogs for vloggl but take a break when I go with Glenn to pick some pallets up from my cousin in Biggleswade. We weave through the country lanes and finally find our way there. It was so cold outside so we didn’t chat for long but it was so good to see my cousin Alison and her husband, Kevin.

We head out to do some boat jobs, stopping first at Brooms Farm shop on the way. We head up to Dunstable Downs for some fresh air!
