Ep 142 Weekly Narrowboat Vlog
Sunday 26th July
After a night of no sleep due to a car alarm going off, we pack up the caravan and the camper. We had a surprise visit from friends Joy and Martin the previous evening who had brought us Pasties from Fletchers Restaurant in Plymouth. We head back to Campbell Wharf Marina to meet with new friends Debbie and Steve who had come from Wales.

Monday 27th July
What a great way to start the week! Before Debbie and Steve head off, we meet up for lunch at The Cross Keys. It was delicious! I cook a roast chicken and make some salad to go with it, despite the fact that my salad leaves had been eaten.

Tuesday 28th July
We head to Northampton for an Amazon round but before it starts we stop off at the Northampton and Midland Plating Company to pick up a couple of bits for Glenn's Yamaha bike. Our Amazon Flex round doesn’t get off to the best start.

Wednesday 29th July
Glenn delivers flowers for the shop today and has an eventful morning. I head to my mums with Leo who has built Yoda out of Lego. We pop into Wellingborough Town Centre to do a bit of shopping and get to grips with using a face mask.

Narrowboat Vlog - Thursday 30th July
It is the most beautiful day! We head to Banbury to visit Harry, Hayley, and the kids and to give Harry a hand picking up some furniture. After we head to Ikea to pick up some bits we need to finish the bedroom. When we get back to the boat we realise that the furniture doesn’t quite fit! With a bit of modification, all goes well and we now have an abundance of storage on Nutshell.

Friday 31st July
Finally, a scorching hot day. I stayed at the boat for most of the day working while Glenn went to the office and did a bit of work on his motorbike.
In the evening we went to a neighbours boat where we had a catch up with some friends and we saw a beautiful rainbow at sunset.

Saturday 1 August
I help a friend on the marina celebrate her birthday and Glenn goes to help Aarran replace the friction pads on his caravan. He then heads off to the office to see if his Yamaha DT175 starts. I try to answer the question about how to create a life full of meaning and Glenn quips in with words of advice.
