LNER HST Farewell Tour: Final Arrival and Departure from King's Cross

On the final day of the LNER HST Farewell Tour, one set of the ever venerable and iconic fleet saw its final arrival into and departure from King's Cross - marking an end to their service on the East Coast Mainline.
For such an occasion, one set (E43112 - 254029 & W43006 - 253003) was reliveried into InterCity 125 colours. This touch helped celebrate not only life and legacy of the fleet, but also Kenneth Grange - the designer and influencer behind the livery and body - who was also in attendance.
