LNER HST Farewell Tour (Newcastle and Darlington) 20/12/19

Today was day 3 of the LNER HST Farewell Tour with 43006 (253 003) and 43112 (254 029) hauling 'The Northumbrian' from Edinburgh to Leeds via Newcastle, York and Doncaster. The footage show is of the arrival and departure from Newcastle, as well as the railtour passing through Darlington, which I had passed at Durham (footage didn't make it into the final shot) and includes the train crew sounding a series of horns to mark the end of ECML HSTs.

This will be my last trainspotting video as well for this year, before my end of year compilation video. I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
