How to: Install and use the machine for the first time (applicable for SM75XX series e.g. SM7580, SM7581)
1. Push the plug of the machine into the wall socket
2. Set the main switch on the back of the machine to ON (-) by pressing the ON/OFF button once.
3. Select your preferred language using the arrows and press OK to confirm.
4. The coffee spout needs to be in the upmost position
5. Remove the water tank and fill the water tank up to the MAX level with water before placing it back into the machine
6. Place a container under the spout
7. Press the START/STOP button to fill the water circuit
8. The machine fills the system (some water might be dispensed)
9. The display asks if you'd like to install an AquaClean filter.

How to Install the AquaClean Filter:
1. Remove and empty the container and remove the
water tank
2. Unwrap the new AquaClean filter from its plastic cover.
3. Shake the filter for about 5 seconds.
4. Hold the AquaClean filter upside down in a bowl of cold water until no more bubbles come out.
5. Place the AquaClean filter and push it onto the filter connection to the lowest possible point.
6. Fill the water tank up to the MAX indication level.
7. Place a container under the spout.
8. The machine starts dispensing water. Wait until the process stops. After activation, the machine rinses for 1 minute. wait until the machine stops dispensing

The next step is setting the water hardness:
1. Remove the container and test the water hardness
2. Take the test strip from the welcome box and open its packaging
3. Place the test strip in fresh tap water for 1 second
4. Select the number of red zones in the test strip and press OK to confirm
5. The machine will start the heat up process
6. Then the machine will go to the next display, to add the beans

How to add the beans:
1. Open the lid of the bean container and fill it with fresh coffee beans
2. Close the lid of the bean container
3. Scan the QR code or follow the URL for more support and instruction movies and press OK to confirm
4. Now your appliance is ready to use

How to brew espresso (brewing one cup):
1. Place a cup underneath the spout
2. Select espresso
3. Adjust the espresso to your preferences and press OK to confirm
4. You can set strength, volume and temperature and press OK to confirm
5. Press START/STOP button to start brewing

Brewing two cups:
1. Place two cups underneath the spout
2. Push the Espresso icon twice. The display indicates the 2x selection
3. Adjust the espresso to your preferences
4. Press START/STOP button to start brewing
5. Your drinks are ready

How to make cappuccino
1. Unscrew the lid of the milk container
2. Fill the milk container with fresh milk (make sure to use
cold milk from fridge)
3. Screw the lid back on
4. Place the metal milk tube into the milk container
5. Connect the flexible milk tube to the internal cappuccinatore
6. Place a cup underneath the spout
7. Select Cappuccino
8. Adjust the cappuccino to your preferences: you can set strength, volume and volume of the milk
9. Press OK to confirm your preferences: before brewing
