HOW TO USE / FIRST USE
Start with filling the water tank up to the MAX indication. We suggest to use fresh water. Place it back into Incanto and press OK.
Open the lid of the bean hopper and fill it with coffee beans. Then close the lid.
Insert the mains plug into a wall socket and insert the small side into the socket on the back of the machine.
Turn the switch to ON. Press the standby button to switch-on the machine. Insert the hot water spout.
When the display shows the circuit priming icon you should prime the circuit. Place a container and press OK. The progress bar shows the progress. And when the machine heats up the temperature icon appears on the display.
Incanto starts rinsing water through the coffee spout. The display shows the progress.
The display then asks to install AquaClean filter, press OK. Activation will take 2 minutes. Remove AquaClean filter from its packaging and shake it for about 5 seconds. Fill a jug with water, hold AquaClean filter upside down until no more air bubbles come out.
Insert AquaClean filter in the empty water tank onto the filter connection. Make sure that the filter fits tightly and the seal is in the right position.
Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the MAX.
Select ON on the display and press OK. When activation is confirmed you see a checkmark.
You need to perform a manual rinse before you can use the machine: place a container under the hot water spout, press MENU and select the DRINKS function. Scroll the menu to select the HOT WATER function. Press OK to confirm.
When the machine has dispensed 2 cups of hot water press OK to stop it. Repeat these steps twice.
For the manual rinsing of the coffee brewing circuit you start by placing a container under the coffee spout. Press the AROMA STRENGTH button and select the pre-ground coffee brewing function. Press the ESPRESSO LUNGO button and wait until the water dispensing stops. Empty the container and repeat this step twice. The machine automatically returns to the main menu. Incanto is now ready.

1 OR 2 CUPS OF COFFEE
For 1 cup of coffee place a cup under the coffee spout. Press the ESPRESSO button and wait till the Incanto finishes.
If you want to brew 2 cups, place 2 cups under the spout and press the button of the desired beverage twice. The machine automatically brews 2 cups.

MILK BEVERAGES
Fill the milk carafe with milk between the MIN and MAX indicator.
We recommend to use cold milk, you can use: whole, semi-skimmed, skimmed, soy or lactose-free milk.
Slightly tilt the carafe and insert it into the guides of the machine. Push the bottom of the carafe towards the machine until it locks onto the drip tray.
To froth the milk you should put the milk froth spout completely to the right. Otherwise the milk carafe does not froth the milk
Place a cup and choose your drink.
The machine will first dispense the frothed milk and the coffee straight after.
After brewing your milk-based beverage Incanto asks to perform a quick clean. Place a cup under the milk froth spout and press OK to start the process or press ESC to perform it later.

GRINDING SETTINGS
By changing the grinder settings Incanto extracts different tastes from the beans, allowing you to shape each coffee to perfection. To adjust it, use the grinder adjustment key which is integrated into the handle of the multifunctional tool.
Place a cup under the coffee spout. Open the lid of the bean hopper and press the ESPRESSO button.
When the grinder starts place the adjustment key on the grinder adjustment knob. Push and turn to the left or right. Do not turn the grinder adjustment knob more than one notch at a time to prevent damage to the grinder.
There are 5 different settings. The shorter the line, the stronger the coffee. You will notice the difference after brewing 2-3 coffees.

STRENGTH LENGTH & TEMP
Adjust the quantity of the coffee according to your taste and size of the cups.
Adjust LENGTH: press and hold ESPRESSO button until the display shows the MEMO icon. The machine enters the programming phase and starts to brew. Press OK when the cup contains the desired amount of coffee. The checkmark on the display shows the button is programmed. To adjust the length of the milk-based coffees, follow the same procedure. To adjust the length of milk-based coffee beverages, insert the milk carafe. Save the milk volume first then save the coffee volume.
Adjust STRENGTH: Press AROMA STRENGTH button. Each time you press this button the strength changes by 1 degree. The display shows the chosen strength which will be saved when brewing a coffee.
Adjust TEMP: Press MENU button, select ‘Temperature’ and choose MIN, MEDIUM or MAX. Press OK to confirm.
