Today a very unique hand of cards was dealt to Seattle, Washington. First, a warm front swept through the city setting a daily high temperature of 59 degrees. This makes today the warmest day that it has also snowed on ever recorded. On top of that, the daily rainfall record was also broken with at least 1.20" of rain. After that, an unusually strong cold front swept through western Washington lowering the temperature to 34 degrees in Seattle, bringing moderate/ almost heavy snow with it. Areas on the border of Canada got 4" of snow only 70 feet above sea level. It has yet to be reported how much snow fell at Seatac, but snow was reported there for 2 hours.
