Via Ferrata to the Dachstein Summit - Schulter Via Ferrata
The Schulter Via Ferrata ascends to the summit of the Dachstein at 2,995 m. (9,826 ft.) in eastern Austria. From the top of the Gletscherbahn Cable Car, climbers cross the glacier on a groomed track (no special gear or experience required) to reach the base of the via ferrata. The via ferrata is about 1 1/2 hours up and another 1 1/2 hours down.
