International Students Try Russian Food | Kvass

In this episode of “International Students Try Russian Food,” Allison and Uğur try kvass – a fermented fizzy drink made with rye bread. Although kvass has a low alcohol content (~0,5%), it’s not considered an alcoholic drink. The name kvass comes from the Russian verb “kvasit”, meaning “to make sour.”
