Le Sentier du Télégraphe is a long series of stairs with 1055 steps, connecting Montreux to the town of Glion.
Giving a very scenic and impressive view on Montreux and the lake, it is said that this old walk was often climbed by empress Sisi in the late 19th century.

Originally constructed along the telegraph connecting Montreux to the historic and luxurious Righi hotel of Glion, this path now remains for the enjoyment of tourist, hikers and students of the renowned international Glion Institute of Higher Education.
