On the way up to the Martinets pass in the Swiss Alps, a lucky encounter with a group of Chamois – some kind of Alpine goat-antelope (Rupicapra rupicapra) – nicely adds to the strange lunar decor of the rocky slope leading to the pass.
They can be heard whistling three times while looking at the camera.
These wonderful creatures are grazing animals and don't feed on rocks; they are on the move to the calm and green meadows of the Nant valley down below, a natural reserve with very low human activity.

Once the Martinets reached, at the foot of the impressive and dominating « Dent de Morcles » the breathtaking and perfect view of the Rhone valley and delta into Lake Geneva is more than a reward.
Along the ridge on the top and very close to the peak of the pass, some old military barracks carved in the rock are overlooking the valley ; this is so typical of Switzerland.

Enjoy the 4K high-quality wide-angle recording and the extreme smoothness of a 3-axis gimbal.
