Team Mobile G2 by HTC Commercial (2010)

This is a commercial for the Team Mobile G2 (Generation 2) by HTC, which was a very early smart phone. It had 4G speeds and was "as turbo charged as you."

HTC, or High Tech Computer Corporation, is a Taiwanese consumer electronics corporation headquartered in Taoyuan District, Taoyuan, Taiwan. Founded in 1997, HTC began as an original design manufacturer and original equipment manufacturer that designed and manufactured laptop computers. After initially making smartphones based mostly on Windows Mobile, HTC became one of 34 cofounding members of the Open Handset Alliance, a group of handset manufacturers and mobile network operators dedicated to the development of the Android operating system. The HTC Dream was the first phone on the market to run Android.

The things being done on phones in this commercial include:
- Looking at a calendar (May of 2010)
- Looking at appointment details on May 21st 2010
- Doing a Google search for "mid century house numbers"
- Sending a text message
- Mapping a location (Astona, CA... not a real place, but is near the PCH)
- Listen to Fitz and the Tantrums song "Winds of Change" from their album "Picking Up the Pieces" (real band and real song... apparently).

This commercial/preview was recorded on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 on The Discovery Channel during a rerun of MythBusters.
