Esurance Commercial - Operation Savings" (2009)

This is a commercial for Esurance. The main character is this commercial is Erin Esurance, a pink-haired spy inspired by Sydney Bristow from the television show Alias. The character and campaign were initially well received, leading to over thirty separate advertisements featuring Erin. This was one of the last ones; she was retired in 2010.

This adventure was "Operation Savings." Erin and her male sidekick find a stack of cash, then Erin turns off the security system. A bad guy then shows up with a bomb1Erin and her sidekick run though a secret door into a room where there are computers, and then Erin disarms the bomb by throwing an apple at it. The adventure ends when her sidekick dumps a pile of cash on the bomber, who is now fleeing the scene, by using a remote control device. During ll this they are talking about the benefits of Esurance.

Esurance is an American insurance company. It sells auto, home, motorcycle, and renters insurance direct to consumers online and by phone. Founded in 1999, the company was acquired by Allstate in 2011. This commercial was recorded on September 16th, 2009 on the Sci-Fi Channel during a rerun of a Ghost Hunters episode. So this was when it was still an independent company (and why Dennis Haysbert is nowhere to be seen).

Apparently, they have a lot of discounts, the ones they mention are their "Switch and Save Discount," their "Fast Five Discount" (just for getting an instant online quote) and their "Good Student Discount."
