Geico Commercial - Board Meeting (2009)

This is a commercial for Geico insurance. Like some of their other commercials at the time this was recorded, it features a stack of cash with eyes on it. The song "Somebody's Watching Me," recorded and written by singer Rockwell, and featuring guest vocals by Michael Jackson, also always plays in these commercials.

The premise of these commercials is that the characters are all in a boring board meeting that includes the boss on remotely attending on a large television. They all then hear a squeaking, and the stack on money is outside the window on a window washer's platform. It is not one of their stronger commercials. Why does the boss know that he stack of money is what he "could be saving with Geiko."

Geico stands for The Government Employees Insurance Company, it is an American auto insurance company headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland. They sell policies through local agents, over the phone directly to the consumer via licensed insurance agents, and through their website.

This commercial was recorded on Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 on The Discovery Channel during a rerun episode of Deadliest Catch.
