Chris Hicks Digs Into Statesboro Blues
Statesboro, Georgia is a two hour drive from Macon, but the song that made Statesboro famous is also part of Macon's rich music heritage. Little did Blind Willie McTell know when he attended the Academy for the Blind in Macon, Georgia in the 1920s that he would write a song that would become a staple for a wildly popular Macon group in the 1970s. #StatesboroBlues #AllmanBrothers #DuaneAllman
