The Sound of Metal (works for...everything?!) | ASBA Metal Series
All-metal drum sets have really come back into style in the boutique world of drum manufacturing over the course of the last five years or so but it all started back in the 1970’s with a French company by the name of ASBA. We’ve had the pleasure of getting to spend some time with their John “JR” Robinson signature TopLug snare drum and now we’re diving in with their stainless steel “Metal Series” drum set. Simply put, these drums are capable of a huge dynamic range with a tonal quality that is sure to surprise listeners.
