Rohan Ramblings 77: in which Gryfflet creates mayhem, havoc and turmoil

Gryfflet has been preparing to survive the Siege of Brockbridge without the aid of a Healer, which he just about manages despite the janky quality of the defences. Herefara, the Reeve's son, is pleased with the outcome but worried about some of his men in a remote outpost (whose pronunciation is debatable): Gryfflet is more worried about whether Herefara has an heir, but agrees to investigate. Sadly he arrives too late for most but is able to help the lone survivor who invites him to wreak revenge upon the attackers. He therefore sets out towards the huge Orc-camp which turns out to be rather better built than the usual. He proceeds to scout the camp and is rewarded with further instructions for mayhem and turmoil. He is somewhat confused when the game proclaims that he has met up with Gríma Wormtongue who is actually some considerable way away, but he is not about to pass up the chance to administer a bit of comeuppance. In the meantime we manage to fit in some Lore discussion while Gryfflet carries on with the turmoil. With but a single foe left to defeat, Gryfflet conceives of a cunning plan which allows for even more discussion: he will find and challenge an enormous Troll and run it around in circles, and there is just enough time to do this twice before the end of the session.
"The good news…is that you're not going to die here!"
"As long as they keep coming in orderly groups like this, we should be fine!"
"Hey, we weren't done with this wave, that's not fair!"
"So far I can live with that…well, you know, if you call it living!"
"Well, no-one enjoys that!"
"At least that Warrior's dying slowly, but of course so am I!"
"The good news is, I've found it!"
"Oh, I'm looting the other bodies now!"
"Aren't they kind of precious? I think they're a little bit adorable!"
"I love burning trebuchets!"
"Is there any definition of turmoil? OK, that's what I'm talking about!"
"Oh, who is shooting at me? Look, can we both agree that that's vexing and arrange a state of affairs where you stop doing it?"
"Oh, this is a crowded room…I'm just going to show myself right out of here!"
"So here's my cunning plan…"
"This is going to take a while, good grief!"
"I shall stab him in the back of his mighty knee…or just let him spot me!"
Lore discussed this week included the nicknames "The Black Hand" and "The White Hand" and the likely origins thereof, Gollum's wisdom or lack thereof, why a small furry animal would not be a sensible surrogate Ring-bearer, and the celtic origins of JRRT's creation of the Dunlending people. Reference was made to the Professor's collaboration with "Wired!", the imminent return of Mythmoot, because of which we will be on hiatus for a couple of weeks, and the recently-announced animated movie about Helm Hammerhand.
