Josef Lhevinne plays Chopin Heroic Polonaise, op. 53 - live 1935

A rare recording of Josef Lhevinne playing Chopin's Polonaise in A-flat major, op. 53, broadcast on 3 November 1935. I have retained the original introduction to the broadcast, which was part of The Magic Key radio show. In the early 1990s this was released on CD by APR, but that is not my source, I have not heard it, and they printed an incorrect date for the performance. Lhevinne sounds more wild in this one than in his better-known 1936 recording.
