Fan fix on the vintage Dodge (will it work?) + "oily rag"

I found some time for the vintage (1920s) Dodge tourer this week, so I unbox and look at fitting a replacement engine fan bought from the USA. But will it work? Also included, a few tips on cleaning up and "oily ragging" this 1920s Dodge car part so that it suits the car and doesn't shout "new replacement part". May contain mild rambling. #dodge #vintagecar #classiccar

This isn't a classic car restoration channel, so I don't recommend following any of the "advice" (ahemm) featured in these vids, they're just a peek into what goes on here at OCC HQ and nothing should be taken as gospel. I'm sure serious vintage car restorers will hold their head in their hands, at my techniques for making sure old parts don't look factory-fresh. I just prefer things to look their age and the sheen of an oil-laden rag, to sticky bright re-paints, and over-use of chrome plating especially under a car's bonnet (hood).
