Collecting classic & vintage car spark plugs - REALLY?!?!??? | Ideas for an automobilia collection

Yes, there ARE spark plug collectors out there, and in this Old Classic Car video I ponder the subject while rooting through a few boxes of vintage and classic car spark plugs, in the hunt for Champion L10s.
Going back to the early years of the 20th century, there were many different plug makers out there, most of which have long gone. They include the likes of Lodge and KLG, to name just a couple of the UK-based makers. Champion of course is very much still in business.
Would collecting old spark plugs be an interesting hobby? On the plus side there are many different examples out there to track down, including of course the packaging which is just as appealing to an automobilia fan as the plugs themselves. Aircraft too also had their own range of plugs. Usually they're also relatively inexpensive to buy and don't take up too much space either. On the flip side, they're not the easiest of things to display unless you build a cabinet designed with displaying a collection of plugs in mind.
Anyway, let me know in the comments what you think ... should I be displaying these old plugs properly? Does anyone care?? :-)
Clearly collecting spark plugs is a very niche area within an already niche subject (old cars & automobilia) so I'm not expecting a tidal wave of interest in the subject. If you have collections of interesting vintage car memorabilia like this please tell us all about them in the comments! This vid was entirely unplanned and just occurred to me while I was sat outside enjoying the weather.
