A well-known face in the 1980s of the Hindi film industry, Mahesh Anand is an Indian actor. Mostly appeared in negative roles, he has starred in super hit films like Shahenshah (1988), Majboor (1989), Swarg (1990), Thanedaar (1990), Vishwatma (1992), Khuddar (1994), and Kurushetra (2000). In the early 2000s, the actor appeared in quite a few films like Badmaash No. 1 (2002), Ek Aur Ek Gyarah: By Hook or by Crook (2003) and Aaj Ka Gunda Raaj (2006), the film being his last appearance.

Anand continued to pursue his career as a wrestler and participated in numerous competitions. He made his Bollywood comeback with the film Rangeela Raja (2018), alongside Govinda after a gap of 18 years.
