Illinois Railway Museum Trolley Pageant 2009

Union, Illinois is THE place to be on July 4 for IRM's annual Trolley Pageant! The arrival of wet weather coincided with the starting time for this event, and cars that were lined up for the parade had to be shuffled around quickly so that leaky-roof cars could be put back into their carbarns. But despite the weather (the crackling sound you hear is actually the pitter-patter of raindrops on my umbrella) and a few glitches, the event was very successful!
