CTA Holiday Train 2009

Since 1992, the Chicago Transit Authority has been ringing in the Holiday season with a spectacularly decorated Holiday Train for riders to enjoy. On Friday, November 27, the festive train operated on the Blue Line. We joined the fun from Jefferson Park to Dearborn & Washington. Check out the elaborate decorations right down to the seat inserts and hokey advertisements! The video ends with a glimpse of a brass ensemble performing Christmas music at Christkindlmarket, a Chicago-German tradition.
