Why Should You Make Mead?

Today we're talking about why mead is the best choice of alcohol to make! This is of course an opinion of mine, but I do believe it's a very true opinion. You can make any alcohol you want, but I have found that Mead is a great place to start. You get the best of the wine worlds, cider worlds and even some beers!

Here is everything you need to make your first mead:

Equipment:

Glass Carboy & Airlock or Plastic Fermenter with lid
Hydrometer
Starsan for Sanitizing
Autosiphon & Tubing
------
Things you can use but don't always need:
Yeast Nutrient
Yeast Energizer

Example Ingredients for a 1 Gallon Mead:

3 Pounds of Honey (Any Kind)
1 Gallon of Spring Water
1 Packet of Lalvin D47 Yeast
