Government investing billions in major Sunshine Coast rail project
The federal government has committed an additional 1.15 billion dollars for a major Sunshine Coast rail project.
It is aimed at connecting the region to Brisbane in time for the Olympics in 2032.
The project is in three stages, with the total cost of the first stage to be a total of $5.5 billion dollars.
