‘Half a billion’: Cost of Voice referendum to be spent to keep Eraring online until 2027
Sky News host Paul Murray says the cost of the Voice referendum, “half a billion dollars” will be spent to keep Eraring Power Station online “just until” 2027.
“The best part of, what, half a billion dollars, otherwise known as a Voice referendum, is how much it will cost to keep the coal-fired power station going,” Mr Murray said.
“Not for another 20 years by the way, just until ‘27.”
