BEACH DRIVING TIP , TURN OFF TRACTION CONTROL

When driving in soft sand it is always a good idea to turn off your traction control before you drive out onto the sand . If you find yourself loosing power most likely the cause is the traction control is limiting your ability to spin your tires . If you find yourself bogging down look for the traction control off button . After turning off the traction control gently try to backup into the same tracks your made before getting stuck . It also helps to dig out all four tires in the direction of travel . The trick is to not spin your tires and bury yourself deeper .
If you can back up a few feet than go forward a few feet , do this several times until you have packed down enough of a runway you can build up some speed and hopefully get on top of the sand . If you quit moving forward stop dig a bit back up and try again
