Barr Attacks Science, Black Lives Matter and Career DOJ Prosecutors as his Authority Slips Away

In a rant more befitting of a Saturday Night Live skit than a conversation with a legitimate Attorney General, Bill Barr attacks science and the public health professionals working to keep our country safe, attacks the Black Lives Matter movement in overtly racial, bigoted ways and attacks the career prosecutors he is supposed to be supporting. It qualifies as irony that Barr rails against the many prosecutors whose ethics dictate that they must resign from cases rather than do Bill Barr's dirty bidding by doing favors for Trump's criminal associates. It's crystal clear that Barr understands his power and authority is slipping away, so he tries desperately to up the autocratic ante. Barr's days as AG are numbered. Then . . . accountability.
