Sony BDP S300

This is a "how to" video about installing a firmware update on the Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player. The Sony BDP-S300 was one of the first blu-ray players on the market. It came out in 2007. Like all early blu-ray players, it would soon need firmware updates. Unlike all later blu-ray players, this early blu-ray player did not have a USB port or an internet connection. The firmware updated had to be installed using a CD Rom. The firmware is downloaded from Sony and burned on a CD-R disc.
