HP 6710b Laptop Overheating: How to Fix.

The HP Compaq 6710b laptop was manufactured in 2007. With 4 GB of RAM, it runs fairly Windows 10 64 bit fairly well for routine tasks.
This HP 6710b was running very hot and shutting down. This video is a "how to" on removing and cleaning the fan and heat sink. It this case, the overheating problem was fixed.
Two utility programs were used to show the CPU temperature. These were HWinfo and Open Hardware Monitor. HWinfo did a better job.
