Juri describes how her aversion to guns turned to curiosity and then into a passion after she learned about the people who compete in sanctioned events. Juri Kimura is a 16-year-old girl who has lived in Tokyo, Japan for her whole life. She is passionate about spreading the things she has learned by being curious, as well as encouraging people to find hidden passions.

Juri hated guns and feared them, after hearing all of the international headlines on gun violence. However, she decided to start rifling and learn more about guns before she made a judgment. Juri learned to turn her judgment and preconceptions into curiosity and learn more about the things she was initially afraid of. Through this talk, she encourages people to give things a listen before judging something based on preconceptions. Juri hopes to inspire others to be curious, with her story of rifling.
