Digital Dexterity, AI & the Future of Creative Comms | Kristin Brewe | TEDxUniversity of West London
How will AI change the future of the Digital Marketing career field? Will it change it for the better, or are worker's jobs at risk?
In this talk, Kristin Brewe touches on the challenges that markerters face in a digital age, but also how we can work with AI, and not against it, to create new content and communications. Kristin Brewe is Course Leader for Advertising and Public Relations at the University of West London.
With over two decades of experience in advertising and public relations for companies both large and small, Kristin shares her insights both as a lecturer at UWL and a speaker in industry. She is also a Fellow in the UK’s Higher Education Academy.
Kristin has led her own consultancy in the UK and the US, advising companies across a variety of sectors on marketing and advertising initiatives, focussing much of her practice on brand building for early stage start-ups. Kristin also served as the Marketing and Communications Director at the Internet Advertising Bureau UK, the British trade body representing the digital advertising industry.
Before relocating to London, Kristin spent a decade in San Francisco with Esurance, where she led the company’s creative, communications, and brand marketing efforts. Her award-winning work helped take the company from an unknown start-up to a consumer brand name. (The company was sold for $1 billion in 2011.)
In fact, Kristin’s passion for start-ups is what has brought her from industry to education, believing that students are our most valuable start-up brands. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
