Today, my friends, we're finally going to take a look at 10 things you didn't know about Halloween H20. In case you want a little bit of a cheat sheet, I'll go over the facts I cover in the video and their timestamps below:
#1: Halloween H20 Goes Straight to DVD - 1:43

Halloween H20 was originally slated to go straight to DVD and was going to be the first film without a theatrical run.
#2: The Return of John Carpenter - 2:19

The studio wanted to get John Carpenter to direct Halloween H20, but he wanted $10 million to return. The studio wasn't willing to shell out that much money, so this never came to fruition and negotiations broke down.
#3: Psycho Easter Eggs - 2:47
There are plenty of homages to Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho hidden in the film.
#4: The Return of Donald Pleasence - 3:38
At the beginning of H20, you can hear the legendary "Devil's Eyes" speech, which was originally delivered by Donald Pleasence in Halloween (1978). They hired a professional voice actor Tom Kane to recreate his monologue.
#5: Introducing Josh Hartnett - 4:37
Josh Hartnett showed up at the audition for The Faculty, where he was spotted by Bob Weinstein and Harvey Weinstein. They were so impressed with his performance, they asked him to audition for a part in Halloween H20.
#6: The Copycat Killer - 5:05
Adam Hann-Byrd was originally cast for the film during a time when there was an early version of the script. During this time, the story was vastly different. Hann-Byrd would play a copycat killer of Michael Myers, but things don't go so well for him. Even though the script was changed, they decided to keep Hann-Byrd onboard the project.
#7: The Many Different Masks - 5:44
There were 3 different physical masks used in the film, but in addition to this, there was a scene filmed with a CGI mask.
#8: Music Makes a Difference - 7:34
Composer John Ottman was originally hired to do the score for H20, but his style didn't seem to fit, so they replaced him with Marco Beltrami.
#9: Connecting The Franchise - 9:25
In an early version of the script, Jamie Lloyd from Halloween 4, 5, and 6 was going to be included in the storyline.
#10: How Will it End? - 10:45
There were numerous endings attached to Halloween H20 at one point.
