Kirby's Augusta - A War We Usually Forget

Throughout its history, Augusta has long celebrated its military efforts.
Our town has such a tradition from the American Revolution to today's cyber insurgencies. We're proud of it. We remember it. We honor it. But in the case of the Spanish American War of 1898, we mostly forget it. For good reason.
Our success was limited.
