Quake 1 - Full Game Walkthrough

Quake is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by GT Interactive, originally released in June 1996 for MS-DOS, and later ported to other platforms. The game follows the protagonist, Ranger, who is sent to stop an enemy code-named Quake from invading Earth through interdimensional portals called slipgates. Quake uses the slipgates to send his army of monsters and zombies to attack human bases and kidnap scientists. Ranger must travel through four different dimensions, each with its own theme and enemies, to find and destroy Quake’s stronghold. The game is set in a dark and gritty world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, with elements of medieval fantasy, science fiction, and horror. The game features a variety of weapons, such as shotguns, nailguns, rocket launchers, and a powerful thunderbolt gun. The game also introduces online multiplayer modes, such as deathmatch and cooperative play, which allow players to compete or cooperate with each other over the internet.
