DethKarz (1998) - PC Gameplay

DethKarz is an arcade racing video game developed by Beam Software, and published by Melbourne House, Infogrames and GT Interactive, originally released in November 1998. Set in the year 2408 AD, the players are one of the elite racers chosen to compete at exotic locations around the world and beyond, such as Metro City, Grand Keys, The Pole and the Red Planet. He straps yourself into a fusion-powered racing machine that can pack plasma artillery and an awesome array of powerups, such as turbo boosters, intelligent homing missiles and stealth capability.

The game has three different race classes: Novice, Advanced and Expert. Each class has four selectable cars with individual handling, combat and racing characteristics. As the player progresses through the game, more race modes and secret cars are unlocked. The game also features stunning graphics rendered at a smooth 60 frames per second to ensure the player feels the speed.

However, he is not alone on the track. He has to face 19 other DethKarz racers who are out to win at any cost. They will use their weapons and powerups to try to stop him or slow him down. Players have to use their skills and strategy to avoid attacks and also take others out. The game is a thrilling and explosive futuristic racing experience that will test anyone's nerves and reflexes.
