Irish House Prices are Still Increasing - Why?

Shock horror house prices in Ireland are still rising.

Any regular viewers of my market update videos will know that I have suggested that the market is cooling.

The market has been cooling in recent months, % uplifts have been less than 1% most months so far in 2022. And the level of increase has been falling month on month.

New data from the CSO was released this week which includes sales data up until May 2022, prices increased by 0.8% in May 2022. Still less than 1% of a monthly increase but still a bit of a jump from April.
