You've Never Done This But Should If You Have a Hard-to-Reach Roof Leak

I had a roof soffit panel that was leaking water into the fascia below. I rigged up this set of plastic shims to act as little putty knives to apply some roof repair caulking material to two hard-to-reach panels. Instead of sticking my whole body out the window, I was able to reach the panels using this contraption.
