So, you know the drill, some people repeatedly haul and then they declutter... seemingly the following week... It's a YouTube video thing... and it's not just a perfume thing either! *** Hauls, blind buy hauls especially, are the speed date / dating app first date of the perfume world: You have little to go on, it's exciting, can be expensive, but ultimately, is this going to ever be a long term relationship or just a rather disappointing (or exciting!) one time only?!

So Nika Marks started this tag called "Pick 6". She noticed a bias in her life towards novelty and always trying new perfumes instead of revisiting those that she'd had for a while. The idea is that you choose 6 fragrances from your collection to get to know again, to wine, to dine and find out if you are actually compatible IRL: at work, doing chores and just being your very normal, non social media, unpolished, self.

Were they worth it "afterhaul"? 😂 Do you see what I did there? I'm way too pleased with that!

*** Of course I love watching hauls and declutters as much as the next person and I do them too. They are the guilty pleasure "junk food" of my perfume YouTube world! Also, the concept of "getting to know your fragrances again" can sound ridiculous, but if you have a large collection, you really might not reach for each particular fragrance very often, even if you are fair about it and spread your love equally (I try, but I do have my favourites).
