Stronger Than Concrete: Ukrainian 'Cyborgs' and the Siege of Donetsk Airport

The last day of the defense of Donetsk Airport. On January 21st, 2015, Ukrainian forces left their positions in the destroyed terminal. They stayed there for 242 days. For their resilience, they were called cyborgs. In the Battle of Donetsk Airport, 101 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, 440 were wounded and 9 went missing.
