Call for Australians to question where government money is spent in Alice Springs
Shadow Child Protection Minister Kerrynne Liddle says Australians must question what is being done with the money spent in Alice Springs and other such areas.
“I think it is extraordinary that the Minister Rishworth comes out and says, well, there is no evidence the card actually worked,” she said.
“Some 30-plus business owners and locals wrote letters saying this is ridiculous.
“There is plenty of evidence that the card actually had an impact.
“We have to be asking what is being done with the money that is being spent in these areas.”
