Greg Alba, John Humphrey & Jon Maturan react to TED Season 2, Episodes 3 & 4 — “Dungeons & Dealers” and "The Mom's Bombed Rom-Com." The Peacock prequel series created by Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy, The Orville, Ted) continues to explore the outrageous teenage adventures of John Bennett and his foul-mouthed best friend — a living teddy bear.
In Episode 3, “Dungeons & Dealers,” a simple quest for.. herbal refreshment.. turns into an absurd fantasy adventure when Blaire (Giorgia Whigham, The Punisher, 13 Reasons Why) asks John Bennett (Max Burkholder, Parenthood) and Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane, Family Guy, American Dad!) for help finding a new stash. Their classmate Chris (Brennan Lee Mulligan, Dropout, Critical Role) agrees to supply them — but only if they can successfully complete a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. When Susan Bennett (Alanna Ubach, Euphoria, Legally Blonde) insists on spending more time with her son after reading about troubled teens, she and Matty Bennett (Scott Grimes, Band of Brothers, The Orville) end up joining the quest...
The chaos continues in Episode 4, "The Mom's Bombed Rom-Com," where Ted sneaks into Blaire’s birthday party hoping to smuggle beer for himself and John. Instead, he accidentally sparks a messy romantic situation when he drunkenly makes out with Blaire, causing a rift between her and her girlfriend Sarah the next day. Meanwhile, Ted tries to cover for himself by lying about hooking up with Ms. Fetchko, which leads to a disastrous double date with her friend Mildred that quickly spirals out of control. Back at home, Susan copes with Matty’s emotional distance by drinking wine, while Matty unexpectedly bonds with Blaire over binge-watching romantic comedies — ultimately inspiring him to attempt a dramatic grand romantic gesture that goes hilariously wrong.
Packed with raunchy humor, chaotic teen antics, and the surprisingly heartfelt family dynamics that define the show, Ted Season 2 Episodes 3 & 4 deliver some of the wildest and most memorable moments of the series so far.
