Hot Chocolate Recipe

Hi Guys, today I’m making you the most delicious hot chocolate with just two ingredients. You’ll never go back to an instant mix after drinking this and it takes the same amount of time as an instant mix. So, make it fresh!

I’m using two squares of chocolate - 1 ounce total. This is semi sweet, I find it works best for hot chocolate, it’s not too sweet or too bitter. It makes a very smooth hot chocolate. I’m also using 8 ounces of whole milk. For extra flavor, I’ll be adding ½ tsp of vanilla extract. The hot chocolate will taste really good even without the vanilla so if you don’t have it, still make the recipe.

Pour 8 ounces of whole milk into your pot. Heat it up gently for a few minutes. When you see steam, you’ll know it’s getting hot. Then add the chocolate squares and whisk gently until completely smooth. Can you believe how simple this is? This is sweet enough for me but taste it and if you like it a little bit sweeter, add some sugar. For extra flavor, I’m adding ½ tsp vanilla, this smells sooo good. A few marshmallows, kids love marshmallows, whipped cream and sprinkle some chocolate on top. Use a peeler or grater and do this right over your whipped cream, it’s so easy.
