Sewing My Victorian Alice in Wonderland Skirt | Hannah Alexander Cosplay Finishing the Skirt Pt 2

Finally the skirt is finished! I did so much on this skirt - first the bottom hem was thread traced so two rows of ribbon could be applied, then it got tons of embroidery and beading. Afterwards the hem was put up with a cross stitch and hug snug, then the whole thing was pleated. The apron and train were next, with lots of gathers and lots of flowers. Finally the skirt got a waistband and closures. I started this part of Alice before I moved so it's really spanned months! This is part twelve of my series making Hannah Alexander's Alice in Wonderland design and my research and inspiration are drawn very heavily from mid-Victorian fashion, specifically the 1860s, since that's when Alice in Wonderland was written and what seems to most match Hannah's drawing.
