Born December 4, 1860/1861 and died June 6, 1922, Lillian Russell was a famous American actress and singer known for her voice and stage presence.
ARTIST NOTES: Lillian's hair color varied widely in her photographs, some showing a light brown or dusky blonde to nearly black hair, which I suspect was a variation that came with being in show business and changing her appearance for acting roles or current trends. Her eyes were clearly very light, most likely blue according to most sources.
