Moving the "Brain" of the Network | Deep Networking Lab Project Log

Today we’re tackling a major bottleneck in the home lab. My networking gear has been stuck in a cramped laundry room "smart panel" for years, making upgrades nearly impossible. Since this is a rental, I can’t drill holes or run new lines—so I’m using the existing coax infrastructure to "heist" the signal and move the modem and router directly into my bedroom lab.

With a little help from the kids and a $2 part, we’re fixing a bad original install and setting the stage for some massive Linux server upgrades coming in the next video.
