Locked Candidates as Elimination Techniques: Pointing and Claiming Sudoku Strategies

Lesson #9: There are two types of locked Candidates (locked little numbers) sometimes referred to as Pointing and Claiming. Pointing is also called Block Line elimination since you first look at the block and then you eliminate candidates in the line (row or column). Claiming is the converse, it is Line Block elimination where you first look at the line (row or column) and then eliminate candidates in the block. This video illustrates both.
