Authentic Mexican Tacos Challenge w/ Chilaquiles, Gorditas, and Quesadilla!!

A&Z #935 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs the Authentic Mexican Tacos Challenge w/ Chilaquiles, Gorditas, and a Quesadilla at Taqueria Viva Mexico in the Little Havana area of Miami, Florida. Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For challenge #16, I traveled to Taqueria Viva Mexico so that I could help kick off their new Authentic Mexican Tacos Challenge which featured two of each of the 12 authentic Mexican tacos on their menu, plus a giant (and delicious) chilaquiles verdes, 2 different meat gorditas, and a chicken quesadilla!! I had 1 hour to finish, and this challenge was extra unique because it included lots of different pig organ meats I had never sampled before. I was trying to win my entire $100-$120 Mexican meal free plus a spot on their Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Taqueria Viva Mexico for the amazing food, drinks, and hospitality!! Taqueria Viva Mexico's Authentic Mexican Tacos Challenge in Little Havana, Miami, Florida ($120):

- Taqueria Viva Mexico has been serving the Little Havana area of Miami, Florida for many years!!
- They offer 12 different authentic tacos via their menu, including some with various organ meats.
- 12 taco varieties - pork leg, pork skin, pork ear, pork stomach, pork tongue, pork leg with crackling pork skin, pork intestines, pork mix, pork al pastor, beef, chicken, and tripe (taco).
- Challengers must finish 2 of each kind, 24 tacos total, served on two trays with fresh guacamole.
- The challenge also includes a chilaquiles verdes, 2 gorditas, and an authentic Mexican quesadilla.
- Chilaquiles (pronounced chee-lah-key-less) are a traditional Mexican breakfast made with tortilla chips simmered in sauce. Typically, they're made with green salsa (in Spanish, salsa verde, which yields chilaquiles verdes) or red enchilada sauce (chilaquiles rojos).
- The beer was not required, and there is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything you are served.
- Winners earn the entire $100-120 authentic Mexican meal free plus a spot on the Wall of Fame.
